The GI Film Festival is making it’s 9th year debut at the beautiful Mosaic in Fairfax, VA.
The updated area located near 495 and route 50 intersection is managed by EDENS and has been updated from its dreary past of an industrial business complex and transformed into a vibrant bustling, community filled with shops, restaurants, boutiques and the amazing Angelika film center. This six-acre park is a completely walkable miniature city and is filled with a wide variety of paintings and charming buildings completely updated to support the growing art and culture scene of Virginia, which makes it a perfect location for the GI Film Festival.
The Angelika film center at Mosaic will be the home of a majority of the GI Film Festival’s screenings. Less than 3 years old, this dynamic facility is the perfect location for this festival- for many reasons. Not only is the Angelika one of the premier locations for people to spend time- it’s also one of the most highly dynamic and sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for the guests of GIFF.
The Angelika is highest-grossing definitive American art-house theater out there, with an extremely elegant and stylish eight-screen cinema that holds some of the most high quality art imaginable. Each individual auditorium features the very latest in digital projection, with some of the best sound technology imaginable- enjoyed from the very best plush velour- stadium style seating to allow a huge crowd to gather there- making it an even more perfect location for this type of film festival.
If last year’s festival is any indication, this year’s festival will be a sold-out not-to-be-missed event. All-access passes are on sale now and individual event and party tickets go on sale this April.
